Parklaan Church The Meeting Zaandijk

In large uninsulated spaces with a reasonably high natural ventilation it is always a problem to install a profitable heating system. For air heating very high capacities are needed and a very high air displacement to get the warm air into the space. With air heating the space also has to be heated up well in advance, which results in high costs and a poor indoor climate for organs and furniture due to moisture extraction. Another way of heating is infrared heating, in which the space to be heated is radiated from above with specially developed electric high-power radiators. This method of heating is comparable to the heat of the sun. Nowadays radiators are mainly mounted on the walls and ceiling and executed in colour, this is a much nicer solution that affects the building as little as possible.

We have heated this church completely electrically with various types of electric infrared panels.

Church hall 15 high temperature radiators with a capacity of 2.2kW per piece attached to the tie rods. Church hall low spaces 27 low temperature panels with various capacities mounted in and on the ceiling in between hall there are another 4 panels mounted with a higher temperature. the panels are controlled via a smart control system.
